Frame Sound Insulation of Walls and Ceilings
Frame-type soundproofing linings involves the use of a supporting frame. The frame is attached via vibration hangers directly to the insulated surface. There is also a version of frame lining without vibration hangers; however, in this case, the frame shall be fixed only to adjacent surfaces, which must be soundproofed by the time of installation (for example, if you insulate a wall, the frame shall be attached to the soundproofed ceiling and floor).
Frame structures are more complex than frameless ones in terms of their installation. They require more time for mounting and a neat joining of all structural elements, in full compliance with the method used; otherwise, there is a high risk of creating sound bridges that reduce the sound insulation effectiveness.
