Accor Hotel (Belgorod)

Accor has its own acoustic standards for hotels. We were asked to measure noise level and create recommendations to solve the issues. Traditionally, we started with measuring. There were problems with engineering equipment on the roof, isolation between rooms and noise from outside. For all these issues we have standard and proved solutions. Engineering equipment is isolated with special elastomer pads that doesn’t pass vibration from equipment to the construction.

Traditionally, we started with measuring. There were problems with engineering equipment on the roof, isolation between rooms and noise from outside. For all these issues we have standard and proved solutions. Engineering equipment is isolated with special elastomer pads that doesn’t pass vibration from equipment to the construction. Rooms can be isolated with different methods, such as: “floating floor”, framed partitions filled with mineral wool, ready to use “ZIPS” isolating panels. Depends on concrete conditions we choose one of them.

In this project we used framed partitions filled with Shumanet BM wool. The same material we used to protect room from outer noise. Chillers on the roof were equipped with pads made of Sylomer elastomer.
